Works perfectly with my blackberry pearl 8100
This GPS “puck” paired with my pearl 8100 on the first try and works great with the blackberry maps application that came with the phone and google maps for mobile that I had downloaded and installed. It gets your GPS fix on startup in less than 30 seconds (only 5 seconds on one occasion!). It works very well in urban canyons like city centers and roads with tall trees all around. I used google maps for mobile more than blackberry maps in order to get directions to things like nearby gas stations and places to eat. I also used it to avoid heavy traffic. I would recommend this GPS “puck” for anyone who wants to add GPS features to their blackberry pearl or other compatible phone.
