Buy Polar RS200 Health Monitor Black UK and User Reviews
POLAR RS200 Running Computer.

A new running computer for goal-oriented runners. Including a variety of running-specific features together with all the essential cheap heart rate monitor functions e.g. sport zones and ZoneLock.
Great place to start as a running HRM![]()
I have used Polar monitors for a number of years now and my previous one finaly gave up 6 months ago at which point I bought an RS200.
It is simnplicity in itself to get up and running with it. It links with the free online polar log book and is generally a well produced HRM with a robust feel to it.
Unlike the review above (maybe this person had a different chest strap, but the one supplied with the watch I recieved has a user replacable battery in the wearlink (chest strap).
The watch produces good summary information about the run and can maintain a history of exercise (14 prevous I think) which can then be uploaded.
There are several features in the watch that are useful to beginners, like finding your “ownzone” based on the exercise you are doing.
I would recommend this HRM to anyone starting up, though if you want to be able to use the Polar training software on your PC you will need to go for an RS400 or higher.
Excellent! And ignore the comments about the battery not being replaceable, it is incorrect!![]()
Hi,
Bought this on the recommendation of a friend who has one, as I’ve just started running, along with mountain biking and circuit training.
Firstly, IGNORE THE COMMENTS ABOUT THE BATTERY NOT BEING REPLACEABLE.
It was the first thing I looked at when I opened the box. There is a slot on the back of the heart rate sensor that you put a coin in, twist it open, and low and behold, the battery comes out. It also tells you in the instruction book how to do it, no wonder they were off hand when he rang up complaining about it.
Other than that, it does exactly what it says on the tin, it’s easy to use, I worked it all out without having to look at the instructions.
Stores plenty of data to compare your times against previous efforts. I don’t know if each one is coded differently, but I play badminton and go running with a friend with the same one, and have not had any issues with interference.
All in all, highly recommended!
